I just got one and connected it up but am just getting the normal guitar sound nothing different no matter which way i turn the modes. This is the only pedal I'm using as I've no patch cables yet.

How do these work as I've never had one before...

Seriously though, only BOSS supplies their pedals w/ batteries from the factory, as far as I know. Just go to any convenienve or grocery store, or even Walmart, and just buy a big box of 9v batteries (the rectangular block ones)

pls tell me how the tone is. im really thinking of getting this. would anyone care to elaborate/ glorify this pedal? or to talk **** about it?

also, how does the pedal react to distortion?

I can't talk **** for the next 30 days or else the higher-ups will ban my account >.< But I wouldn't need to. Carbon Copy is a good pedal.

If you have enough pedals to use it with, the 1 spot is a lifesaver imo.
