so i bought the Crybaby 535Q and when i got it there was the pale stuff that kinda looked like glue or gum that was on the part that moves when you move the pedal

i don't know if it's supposed to be there or not because i've never heard of it but it seems to be there to reduce wear on the parts (maybe?)\

anyone know about this?

I think it's a lubricant of some sort. I'm not too certain, but my 535Q had the same thing when I bought it. don't worry about it. I'm sure if it's on both of our pedals it was there for a purpose. I'm leaning towards lubricant. Hope that helps.

Its Lithium grease I believe. I have some on my Jimi Hendrix wah. Don't take it off or else the rocker mechanism can get dry and seize up down the line.

i found this lubricant on some of the moving parts in the inside of my V847 too. it's natural. just like most cars are lubricated with engine oil, most wahs have their gears lubricated with other ****.
