is this worth it to get?

i know its a sg-like model, but does it have much difference from an epiphone standard les paul (i own)....ive always wanted a double neck but the gibson models are outta my price range right now. plus usually the epi double necks go for close to a grand. why is it only 380?

20 frets. I wouldn't touch it. Your call though.

And yes, it can and likely will go up that much sadly.

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.

I'm pretty sure the Epiphone G-1275 used to be bolt-on, so this is the older version. I also believe the older version was alder body, not mahogany. And it's not a "custom" guitar, you can go to your local Gibson dealer and if they don't have one in stock, they can order a new G-1275 for you.

Lastly, it's not "$380" on ebay, that's just the current bid. The final bid may well be like $600 or $700.
my MG15DFX has a button that simulates the sound of one of the expensive tube marshall amps

To clarify, mine's set neck but it is only 8 years old.
I'd honestly suggest getting a good solid 'main' guitar first. The twin seems to be a bit of a show-off type of thing, plus it weighs an almighty tonne.
