I went to walmart tonight and bought a cable that will allow me to plug my primary mp3 player into the audio imputs on the front of my Fender 15G, and plug another recorder into the headphone jack.

Will i be able to hear the track when i have the recorder in the headphone jack?
Should i buy a splitter that will let me use headphones and record?

NO! that'd make waaaaay too much sense

you mean red and white rca cables to input music and then a 1/4 plug in the headphone jack to output to a recorder?

if you then plug headphones into the recorder, you should also be hearing the mp3 along with your playing.

It's called a joke.

often times I do offer help. sometimes I feel like being a jackass. BY COINCIDENCE, you've happened to join in on the topics I act like a jackass in. As long as I'm not insanely derogatory, I don't see the problem. There are people in this world who don't feel it necessary to vomit sunshine 24 hours a day. I'm one of them.

yeah and those guys hang out in the pit. the guys that post in the gear sections, are often new, arent sure of what's up and are looking for help.

believe me. i know a good joke, and i know a guy dying to get banned.

you're definitely the latter.

chill out.

Well I think you would need to split it then between headphones and the recording device your using

no, you could plug the headphones into the recorder out, last in the chain.

splitting headphones without a boost on a 15G will cut the volume.
