So I'm thinking of getting a new electric for college, and I need something that's versatile...something with tones good enough for metal, jazz, and the stuff in between. A Les Paul's the obvious answer, I think, but I hate single-cutaway body shapes. What guitars are out there that have the same kind of versatility, but aren't single-cutaways?
