This solitude is violating
My individuality
I sick of ancient cliches
That pervade eternally

Rectify my insanity
Leech my brain
Show me the ink
Leave me in the rain

You don't exist
Except as a dream I once had
It wasn't mine
Or my dreams bear real semblance

I can't despair
But I can't forget
(Learn to live without)
No need to repair
What never was before
(Damn all fantasy)
Waiting for your birth
A solipsist's reality
(Am I alone?)

(So it would seem)
Lost in pervasive imagining
(Winter is coming)
I live in days of summer yet

This started out as a lament that all songs about feelings of solitude meld into a pile of generic ****. It turned into a solipsist's soliloquy of wanting to recant his philosophy, but not being able to because, being a die-hard empiricist, he has no evidence of the existence of others.

Anyway, this isn't my first. All criticism welcome. Many thanks for reading.

Dont use the word "cliches". That kinda screwed the momentum a bit. Otherwise I love it.
