just buy a guitar with a whammy bar. no sense in buying a cheap guitar then routing (assuming you want a floyd) and retrofitting nut when you could buy a decent guitar with some kind of vibrato bar for the same amt of money.

If you got the fender brand and installed it your self, like 150. If you get a knockoff maybe 50-100. Could cost up to 50 to get it installed.

Better to just buy a cheaper guitar with a trem then going through the hassle of routing a cheap guitar and spending the money for the bridge and all that.Then you'll have 2 guitars for just a bit more than it would cost you to mod the original.
