im looking to modify my HSS squier showmaster.

i want a high output bridge humbucker (for metallica type sounds)

BUT

i also want the neck pickup to be good for playing indie such as arctic monkeys.

so, GG&A, recommend me an indie neck singlecoil, and a bridge humbucker!

help is appreciated

through a cube 30, you'll hardly hear the difference. waste of money IMO.

i can usually tell the difference between my squier and jackson though...

the pups are not going to make any difference in your tone. I suggest you get a better amp then change the pups.

If you have a Jackson RR3 why do you want to modify your Squier to give you more of a metal tone?

And yes, through a Cube it'll make hardly any difference.

Well then you'd be able to hear the difference between an ok amp and a great amp
