i have a friend who wants to sell his bass amp among his other amps. the problem is he bought it so long ago, it's no longer in production and no one has any idea how many watts it is or how much it was worth.

we do believe that coming from where we live, if information on the amp is not included, no one will buy it.

And so we require help from you wise people in the GG&A forum!

this is called Applause bass 50. i believe it's applause by ovation.

my questions are:
how many watts is it?
how much was it worth when brand new/used?

thanks for your help!!!

well if it is called bass 50...then it probablly has 50 wats
...Fender + Ritchie Blackmore = hours and hours of GREAT music and guitar execusions...

That's a nice big amp, fair doos. If it's got ''50'' in the name then it's probably 50 watt - What I'd be much more worried about is the age of the amp. If it's had alot of use it's probably lost all of its clarity and sustain, much the same as my previous bass amp did. Still, if it's cheap, go nuts!

In an un-related matter, That guy sucks, I bet his favorite color is Beige... Plus he mis-spelled ''Execution''.
