I want to upgrade my guitar and I have been thinking of buying this guitar :

http://www.zzounds.com/item--SCEC1HR

Its a Schecter C1 Hellraiser .
Is this a good guitar for metal ?
And are there any other hellraiser models?

EDIT : I mean that Im going to buy this guitar when I reach intermediate level . Not right now . Sorry . XD

that would be good for metal but you might want to look for one with a FR for versatility

That's like the only thing, and tuning stability.
It's cool, but really messes with tuning as you have to adjust spring tension whenever you tune.

So if you like changing tunings a lot don't get a floyd because it takes about 10 minutes to retune. If you want tuning stability and will stay in the same tuning a lot get the fr version.

But like someone said earlier, what are your current guitar and amp?
Gear:

Schecter PT Custom w/ Dimarzio crunch lab/liquifire
Marshall JCM2000 DSL+Orange 4x12
