I have a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker (sh-13) on my razorback and i'm thinking of getting the SH-8 Invader Pickup to replace it. I tried the dimebucker in lower tunings like A# and it gave a VERY muddy tone compared to my BC Rich with active emg's but i'd rather keep it that guitar in drop B. So is the Invader better than the dimebucker for lower tunings?

string gauge, and guitar set up will play a big role
but active p/u's also help on the lower tunings

Also, if you are playing that low, consider a baritone guitar instead of a standard

You'd have to tune to A# Standard though, not Drop A# (which is C Standard with the low E tuned to A#).

I'm using Ernie ball 7 string power slinky 11-58 (take out the 11)

I hear that the Dimebucker isn't good for thicker strings than 46.
When i play the guitar in that low tuning (A# or drop A) it has more bass than anything and less treble than higher tunings, so i need a very bright pickup to get more treble in my sound again.

With the guitar in Drop D the sound is amazing but i would really like to have this guitar in a very low tuning like my BC Rich.

Seymouyr duncan blackouts might work for you
