What decade does most of your music in your music collection come from?

I'm guessing that a lot of people here will have lots of rock from 70's or say that its about equal .

Anyway i think most of mine is from the 90's.

Oh, and here, have a poll

Oh and to add more discussion which is your least favourite decade? (if you have one)
How many guitar players does it take to change a light bulb?

Twelve. One to change the bulb and eleven to say they could do it better.

It's evenly spread out from the '60s onward, really.

This decade.
There's a load of stuff from the 80's like Classic Rock and hair metal stuff, but I grew up loving the music of the 2000's and most of my collection is that
I hope it doesn't seem, like I'm young, foolish, and green.

mainly the 60's-70's, and then straight to the 2000's. I skip right over the 80's and 90's for the most part.

Well I have a lot of 70's/80's a few 90's a couple 60's and quite a bit of modern stuff, the modern stuff is all really screamo, avenged sevenfold, black tide etc

EDIT mostly 80's though, Maiden, post bon scott Ac/Dc Metallica megadeth etc

Wtf? black tide's not even close to screamo! They don't even growl or anything.

I enjoy all types of music, but most of the stuff I listen to comes from this decade because music has branched out further and further, and now days there is so much variety that it's near impossible not to like anything.
#24
i have a great variety of stuff from stuff from the 1940's on up. i am really picky about what i listen to though.
#25
vast majority of my music collection is between 84 and 96
so what do i vote?

2000s

I very rarely listen to anything much older than the 90s. It's not that I don't like the music, or that I refuse to listen to it, I just became burned out by most of it.

The only 60s and 70s bands I ever listen to are the prog bands, some Beatles, the MC5, and some various others. Not a lot, though.

About 90% of my library, I would guess, comes from the past 8 years.

This decade. I mean, only 5 of the last 200 songs that I listened to in iTunes are older than 2000.

there's sh!tty music from every decade, the only difference is that the bad music from the past has been forgotten.

It's a pretty even spread across the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.

The one with the most is probably the 80s, for all the thrash. The one with the least is probably the 90s; although it's probably the most varied decade of my collection, ranging from At The Gates to Daft Punk. The 70s is mainly classic rock, with the 00s being a pretty eclectic selection of albums from young metal bands, and modern albums from old bands.
