well i got my new guitar a week ago and since i dont have a guitar amp im playing it through my bass amp but sometimes it starts clipping so is there anything i could do to prevent this or should i save up and get a decent guitar amp?

if you're running a distortion pedal into it lower the level on that. or any pedals for that manner.
