Ernie Ball isn't the only company that makes those, and it isn't the strings that make their sound.

Even so, they use Rotosound strings. Get some 10-52 gauge.
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

Well, first you need to understand that the strings aren't going to make you sound as 'hard' as they do, no matter what type you buy. They sound like that becuase of technique and style.

That being said, if you're going to drop C, I wouldn't go any lighter than 11's, but ideally 12s would be best for tension and tone. Below that, just get a 7 string set and lose the high E. Make sure you set the intonation and truss rod when you're switching that drastically in tunings.
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

get a set of bottom heavy strings, or get a set for a 7string and drop out a the middle one.

Strings dont make you sound like a specific band, its called tone.
BFMV, though they may suck horribly, yea thats that sentence.
Strings don't affect how you will sound unless you distinctly buy strings rated
between warm and bright tone, but that doesn't affect it too much.
Just buy strings you a comfortable with.
Personally, i use D'Addario .9-.42's and love them.
Try some different brands and see if you can really tell a difference aside from
smoothness of the string.
