Currently i have audacity on my PC and I was wondering if anybody knew about a recording program thats better then audacity that i can just download off the internet. I would really appreciate it!

Reaper if you want it to be all free.

If you want something even better, keep Audacity and then buy a download of Sony ACID. Therefore, you record the tracks in Audacity, export the audio file, and then use the files for each instrument you recorded and then organize the tracks in ACID and put in any misc. effects. Do that if you want to spend $60 - $70.
