This thread is for comparisons of disappointing efforts by great artists, and as you will see they don't even have to be musical. But there is one rule: you MUST choose one and give an argument why it is such a pile of dog crap.

So here goes: What's worse, St. Anger or The Phantom Menace?

I will say The Phantom Menace because previous to that turd there were only three Star Wars films and they all kicked ass. And St. Anger was not Metallica's first lame excuse for a record. So by virtue of being the first of its miserable kind, TPM is worse.

yeh but load and reload were decent albums, not necesarily decent metallica albums.

i'd have to say st anger because i actually enjoyed phantom menace.
