Could it get loud enough to be heard towards an audience of about 1000+ people?

I didnt have anything planned out, and I didn't know **** about improvising, so it was like "OH SHI- SOLO TIME" so I kerry-kinged it.

Without a PA system? Is this an outdoor gig? Or a big venue? Id say yes in an enclosed space

Auditorium of 1000 people probably just by itself.

easilly, ive played to 500 people with my hot rod deluxe on 2

I'm just worried about the possibility of breakup now too though... the hot rod deville gets LOUD even at like 1 but breaks up at like 6-7 usually...

I think that pretty much all Fender tube amps are REALLY loud.

Yup,my old mans hot rod is a good deal louder at 40 watts than my JSX combo is at it's 60 watt setting on similar volume settings.
