My vox is making a wierd sound. It's crackling when I play a full chord with any attack, but generally just on the attack. It's not doing it for single notes or lightly played chords, just full chords with an attack. I tried all my differant cords, too the effects out of the loop and just can't figure this one out. Any ideas?

PS. it's a 90's Vox AC30/6TB reissue.

Also, I know it ain't the tubes, just put a fresh set of JJ's in in october, and she ain't been gigged or practiced heavily.

actually, I just tried it with my les paul (which only has one working pickup, as I'm re-wiring it) and it didn't do it. Did it on the tele, didn't do it again. I kept playing around and it starting doing it again, because I started resting my right hand on the pickguard. It seems to be that when I touch the pickgaurd it does it... odd. I'm thinking it's a grounding issue with the guitar's electronics, but it's a plastic pickgaurd, so, I'm all types of confused here.
