Well I was thinking about it and I was wondering what 50 songs should every one know how to play from the beginning to the end.
25 being pure metal ,
15 softer "campfire" songs ( **** to get you chicks ),
10 being songs that you need to know (master of puppets , enter sandman, etc.)

what songs are on your list

I was just wondering because I'm planing to expand my library of songs

I can play everything , sweep picking is still hard but you get better by practicing right ?

thanks

Why should half the list be metal?

hahaha , you know what I mean

also half should be metal because that is the music I am into

There is no list of "must know songs" seeing how everyone has different tastes in music. And you’re already assuming everybody likes metal. I can't stand it, so why "must I know" 25 metal songs?

EDIT:
also half should be metal because that is the music I am into

I hope you go hiking in some mountains, get lost and freeze to death.

There can't be a universal list of songs that everybody should know because not everybody is into the same music.

EDIT--Too late.

of course there is no such list
thats why he's asking us to make one
but 25 metal songs is a bit much i admit
but I'd say Wonderful tonight - Eric Clapton is a must know

Threadstarter, you're a dumb ass.

What if I don't want to learn Master of Puppets?

You make it seem like everyone needs to learn these songs because they are what you like. News for you... not everyone likes what you like. There is no list of songs that people should know. That's like saying Rolling Stone's "Top 100 Guitarist List" ultimately dictates who is and isn't a good guitarist.

You see the problem here - I've listened to exactly two of those six, I haven't even heard of two of the bands, and I have absolutely no interest in any of them.

Close thread plz

If you're looking for recommendations for songs to learn, we have a thread for that sort of thing at the top of the forum.
