These guys were trapping these innocent animals and making them fight each other! Didn't Micheal Vick get in trouble for that?

No, if it were, the more points you get the game would get easier, not harder.

Eugh why do people make threads then not give their own opinion on it.

For me its a no, but analogies like this can be made about pretty much anything.

The cherries are education. When you have education, ghosts can't get you.

Because asian animators know karate.

I dont know maybe they were being mature for once.

I don't actually believe that Namco made Pac-Man as a statement about anything. It's just a funny, interesting way to look at Pac-Man. You could interpret many games in more than one way and I happen to think that an individual's interpretation of something is no less valid than it's creator.

Mmmm not quite. The power pills could be education if you want to use the "ghosts can't get you" idea, or if cherries are education, the gain of points for eating the "cherries" could be interpreted as the effect higher education has on salary.

i think animal rights activists should have protested against pokemon years ago. i've been saying it for ages. i'm suprised they haven't been caught out for promoting animal cruelty.

as for pac man, cherries are expensive!

S-s-s-sigged

I have, and always will believe Pac-man to be an epic tale, spanning from 1927 to 2031, telling of the rise of Nazi Germany, through to the world's current economic decline, and of future events (yet to be interpreted).

If you take Pac-man to be Jesus, Blinky (the red ghost) to be Saddam Hussein, Pinky (the pink ghost) to be Adolf Hitler, Inky (the blue ghost) to be Osama Bin Laden, and Clyde (the orange ghost) to be any given chav; and the power-pellets to be either nuclear warheads or trained-amphibious-dolphins-equipped-with-armour-piercing super-soakers-and-lightsabers (interchangeable), then I believe you'll begin to see where I'm coming from.

No, I made all that up, but I do like Pac-man
