It's been done, but this is a new one for new people.

For me: I always play Rush out loud (mp3) because my dad doesn't like them, so he always kids around saying 'turn that crap down!'.

So one day I brought my amp near the computer and starting playing The Spirit of Radio, my dad came home from work, and as usual said 'turn that crap down!' in a jokingly manner (he couldn't see me). I said 'It's me playing' (normally I plug headphones into my amp, as lots of people live in my house, I don't like being loud, but no one was here so I turned it to 11), and he came to see me with my guitar to which he replied 'Holy ****... Keep it the **** up, kid'.

Best day of my life. (My dad is HUGE on music, so coming from him, I take it as a giant compliment).

BTW that was like 2 years ago, so I can only imagine I'm alot better now.

When I could play Through The Fire And The Flames.
Tonight, we stagger out from the basement...

I'm sick of not having the courage to be an absolute nobody.

...Or fall to our deaths from above
