Okay Pit! So this morning i got up early and put on my ipod and went to walk somewhere. I realised that it was quieter than normal, this wasn't the first time i've realised this before. I just didn't care and just left it, so later on I took my ipod out for a bit and then went to do some things. After this i came back to my ipod and turned it on, I realised that I could hear it louder than in the morning.

Is this just my hearing f*ed up or does this happen to anybody else?

..... yea, I think there's your problem.

You probably got too much gunk in your ears, if you ever hear quiet again do this:

Plug your nose, and blow out your nose. If it goes from quiet to loud when you do that, then chances are you need to clean your ears.

But I'm listening to it now and it's fine and i can hear it like normal.

I do know what you mean, more volume is needed in the morning than other times for me

However people who turn ipods up full, better enjoy it now while your hearing actually lasts

I need my iPod quieter in the morning. It hurts my ears if I turn it up when I first wake up.

Your headphones were slightly unplugged and then later they got pushed in?

This.

The wiring in your headphones is probably screwed up; it's happened to a couple of my pairs of headphones, the reason it get louder and quieter is because the wiring keeps slipping in and out of the right positioning, I think.
