I posted this yesterday but didn't get a reply.

Can I use my marshall 4x12 cab as a speaker for a record player if the record player has an amp already built in?

Thanks

You probably could but it wont sound very good. Guitar speakers are made for a much narrower freq range. So the speakers wont do the real low stuff very well or very high stuff very well. The real low stuff could damage the speakers just like a using a bass with guitar speakers will.

its impossible, you would need active speakers, or a power amplifier. running line level signals into a passive speaker doesnt make noise really. even if you did amplify the signal, it could damage the speaker.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.
