im buying my next guitar and Ive settled for an ESP H-500. has anyone played one? and are there any similar or better spec guitars for the price? It costs $530 US.
Oh and im not keen on trems

Sounds very nice

And yes, it is LTD and passive pickups, but very good ones.

I've played the H-1000, which is a really nice guitar. The only problem I had with it was the thick lacquer and the abalone binding, which the 500 doesn't have.

You could look at the Washburn X-50 Pro or Ibanez SZRs, just to have some alternatives to look into.
