I thought you guys might like to see this.
A custom-made Jackson in red with some interesting features. Expensive but worth every kopek if you are into 1980s metal. I started with an Epiphone Explorer, then I got a Jackson KE2 (Kelly) and finally this. Any questions or comments?

Model: Sonja. Age: 24. Height: 5'10" (178 cm).

1. No.

2. Because I think it looks great. I don't like plain-looking guitars.

**** the guitar, how much for one night with the chick?

EDIT: looks like you're in a classroom. Brings a whole new meaning to "Hot for Teacher."

Are those frets scalloped or do my eyes deceive me?

They do not deceive you. The fretboard is indeed scalloped. All 24 frets.

Yes, that's me. But the purpose of that thread was different. I am new here and decided to introduce myself by posting some pictures of my guitar, but instead of the usual pictures of a guitar resting on a couch or lying on the floor, I thought it would be more interesting to show a real person posing with the guitar.

That's cool then. I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't start a flame war over here.

Either way, I personally like the guitar. I've always been an eighties kind of guy, and that guitar exemplifies over-the-top 80's style.

Oh, and the chick's just meh.

how much was it?

Too much probably. Back then in 2004 it was $2950 USD. And that's the dealer price. Jackson Guitars have increased their custom shop prices and today in 2009 it would probably be closer to $4000 USD.

Did you get a few raised eyebrows when you asked for 24 scalloped frets? The top 4 frets of my JEM *cough* are scalloped but I can't remember seeing a guitar where all 24 frets are scalloped...

"Hot for Teacher" anyone?

The Scalloping looks good, not too deep like most I see. I bet it plays great. I'm not brave enough to do all 24 but if I had another cheap guitar I would.

No, I am not a Def Leppard fan, although I do have two of their albums. I don't have the Adrenalize album though and I have actually never heard it. At the time when I ordered the guitar and decided on the Adrenalize graphic, I was not familiar with Def Leppard and had no idea the graphic was from one of their album covers. I just thought it looked good.

Yes I did, both from my contact person at Jackson, and especially from my dealer who asked me several times if I was sure I wanted a fully scalloped fretboard. I remember being told that in 2004 they only received two or three orders for custom-made guitars with fully scalloped fretboards.

You need a lighter touch or your note will go sharp, I doubt that I could play on one because I often use alot of pressure.
