Just search metallica Mtv icon, was one of the better covers in the show. Especially when you consider the Sum41 medley and Avril Lavigne attempting fuel

ouch is what my ears told me...OUCH

Dude, I think I would know, Trivium invented Thrash, Metallica are lucky they got as far as they did piggy-backing off of Trivium's signature style.

It's just an easy way to shift blame as always. If Slipknot caused people to get murdered, then spoons caused Rosie O'Donnell to get fat.

Korn and Limp Bizkit were pretty awesome, and Lars loved Avril's cover of Fuel, but Snoop's cover wasn't his best performance ever.

the sum 41 medley is not really that bad at all
I love my keyboardist, he's hot.

Snoop actually wasn't very good, but Avril really blew me away (heh I wish she would blow me away if you know what I mean). Sum 41 were alright. I can't stand Korn or Limp Bizkit, so I'm not gonna watch those.

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.

I wish Snoop rapped it instead, he has a horrible singing voice

Sorry, but I think Limp Bizkit did the best cover on that show. I just loved what they did to Sanitarium, they definately made that one their own.

Jim Breuer was really funny on that too, I've always loved him

I've seen that, its just so full of fail.

Thats why rap will never amount to anything

Yes. He did a crap job of it, seeing as he just "sang" the whole thing monotone, and a lot slower as well it seemed.

But he did better than Avril Lavinge, because Snoop was only on stage for like a minute.

Snoop Dogg isn't a bad guy, and I thought it was actually pretty cool that he would cover a metal song. Kudos to Snoop.
