When I stand up and play, my bass slides to an about horizontal position. I don't have a problem with this, but when this happens, the strap pulls on my shirt as well, and stretches out the neck hole. Does anyone know a quick fix for this problem?

is your strap leather? get a woven or nylon strap. leather or suede leather straps always stick to me, which in some cases, is good, but when i want my guitar to be able to swing around, i go with a good old nylon. works for me.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

Thanks, works perfectly. I just threw on my old nylon from my strat. Now I can use the leather one on my kramer, as the one I currently have doesn't go low enough.

That's what I had been doing, but it doesn't work perfectly, and its annoying as fvck, since my bass moves a lot when I play.
