Ok guys i got a problem and i thought that you would be able to help. I have a Metal Muff w/ top boost distortion pedal and i just encountered a problem. Whenever i plug it into guitar and amp it does not distort the guitar. I have all my knobs where i want them to be it just does not work right, the distortion is very little. It sounds like a clean channel with a little gain. If any of you know how to fix this could you please help me. Also its not the cables cause i tried it with just the amp and the guitar and it works just fine.

I'd change the battery...maybe check the cables? Double check all the knobs ...did it just start doing it?

Try it without top boost.

Try it with a wall wart/power supply other than battery.

Make sure your guitars volume is all the way up.

Make sure you're going into the INPUT and out through the OUTPUT, and the cables are connected properly.

Make sure the pedals before it are working properly.

Make sure your pickups haven't died.
