I was looking to spend about $400 - $450 for a guitar and was wondering is it worth jumping up to the S320? I'm pretty much dead set on getting an Ibanez but I just want to make sure I'm not going to be dissapointed with my purchase. I play alot of metal / rock / blues

Maybe a RG? Personally I use to have the S470 and it was ok, just that single coil got in the way of my picking...not sure if your s320 would come with a single but I would look at that getting in the way of picking, but other than that I think a lot of S series are solid...so I definitely looked at the s320 and no single so go for it

just so you know how stable it is

i dropped it and the headstock snapped off (my own fault not the guitar)

it had no strings on it for 2 weeks and the headstock had been glued back
no truss rod adjustment needed
intonation spot on and action still kickass
