Good half stack for the price? or should I check something else
I play Metal/Metalcore/some Thrash
Jackson DKMG active emg's

Absolutely not. Bugera 6262, Randall RG-50TC, B-52 AT100, all far better for metal.
I'm putting my GAS on hold
for a couple months in order to pimp my ride.

Don't judge me.

The VK can do metal, but if thats specifically what you're after, I'd look at something else.

Is the Krank Rev JR pro half stack good for metal?

It's got very mixed opinions. Try before you buy if possible.

Yea I will try everything before buying Im only on a $900 budget

I say try to find a used Mesa F-Series amp, or a 5150. Both good amps, try both of them if you can, you may like it better than the Krank.

What about a B-52 at 100? only $50 more

Don't you have a $900 budget though? You could do better than the B-52 for $900.

yea $900 give or take a few all I want is a good tube halfstack (or combo if there are great ones) thats loud enough for 150-250 people gigs, great for metal metallica/ megadeth/ pantera
