I wanted to play some blues songs, but the rhtymn and not lead guitar. I'm learning to play lead for blues, but right now, just so i can play along with some blues songs, I wanted to play rthymn. Any songs with tabs/chords for rthymn?
My gear:

Memphis les paul (fixin it up as we speak!)
Schecter C1 plus
Ibanez RX 240 (been sold)
Peavey envoy 110 (Pretty dang good!)
Some washburn acoustic...

blues rhythms, for the most part, are just I IV V progressions; ie the 12 bar blues.
My Gear:
Gibson Faded Flying V
"Dante's Inferno" Iceman
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 112
etc.

I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.

ah ok, well... try some elvis =P or if you want modern blues, the white stripes do a great job with some of their stuff (apart from the solos, which, while awesome, youre probably not ready for yet)

Rock'n Roll music - Chuck Berry (Beatles covered it)
Mean Woman Blues - Roy Orbison
Rave On/Its So Easy/Oh Boy - Buddy Holly

All 12 Bar Blues (with some variations), great tunes to learn blues rhythm imo.

EDIT** Oh and don't forget that all time cassic - Jonny B Goode - Chuck Berry (and everyone else thats covered it)

Thanks guys, and I'd need to look at the white stripes solo, I've been playin 7 8 months, so I know how to play some solos, so i may be ready for the white stripes solos. But I'll look at all those, thanks.
