Hey guy so im in the stage of finally wiring up my guitar got everything done... I went to the store and said i needed a pickup 3way pickup selector he gave me this.

No i looked at the bottom and i cant figure out how to wire it up to the pickups. I got emg 81/85 set.

Thats the bottom so how would you say i should hook this up so i can choose between bridge/bridge and neck/neck... I really need you help... diagrams?

Thanks so much

do you happen to have a multimeter/ continuity tester of some kind?

..I would assume that the two outer ones are the hot from the bridge and neck, with the middle one being the output. then the one off to the side is grounded.

I'm not 100%sure about that, I've never used a switch exactly like that before, but I'd assume thats what it is... it woiuld make sense. but yeah, if you've got a meter of some kind, you could check what pins are connected in what positions..

you could possibly use a aa battery with some wires and a christmas light bulb(the small ones, and make youself a continutiy tester, i did that once when woring on my rd350s wiring lol

I think 1 and 3 are the lugs for the pickup leads, 2 is the output lug, and 4 is the ground lug.

It's just a guess, but that's what it was on the last switch I had that looked like that

I actually went out and downloaded Paint.net because I don't have MS Paint. At least I can finally do basic image editing again

Uhhh.... wow, I don't know.

Maybe that's an On/Off/On switch. You might be better off just buying an AllParts 3-way switch.
