Hello UG.

Well, I made the mistake of buying a guitar with an Edge III; you guessed it, an Ibanez.

Overall it is a good guitar, with a few flaws, but what really bothers me is the floating trem.

I can never get it at the right level, either too high or too low. At the moment it's too low.

So if I can get some help on how to fix that, its greatly appreciated.

Otherwise, can someone please link me an easy method of blocking the damn trem. It's such a pain in the ass. Or maybe someone can give me a step by step description of what I need to do to block it.

Thanks a lot.

How do I make them tighter then?
To balance the string-spring tension

They're held in to the guitar's body with a 'claw' and screws. Tighten the screws to tighten the springs, and loosen to loosen.

in scotland they call carbonated drinks 'juice' so you would say a can of juice for example. But they call poop jobbies, so their take on things doesn't count.
