im in this electric guitar design class and its cool and all but im a little confused on the technical side of it. the prof in the class wants us to figure out how this switching design works. im not an electrial engineer or anything but im sure this is really easy. if anyone could help that'd be great.

how do you get:
A in parallel with B
A in series with B
A by itself?

see picture

ma' gear: -Fender Stratocaster (Mexican) Left-handed
w/ push pull pot and series mod
-Ovation Acoustic-electric
-Vox Valvetronix ad30vt amp w/ effects loop mod
-Dunlop Crybaby Wah pedal
-Rocktron short timer delay pedal
-Boss RC-2 Loop pedal

No I'm not Jesus. I would aspire to be though. I think under circumstances he would let you pay less if you needed to.

dude its a potentiometer the live goes in the middle and one of the out side ends goes to thepickups and the other goes to the ground. and are these 4 wires comin directly from the pickup or is the ground wire in there too

The diagram bobbob1299 posted in #6 would work as long as the middle (on) position connects the bottom left lug and the middle left lug together and connects the top right lug to the middle right lug (independent of each other).

Hope that's clear?

If not there's a diagram of what I mean here: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=3wmt

Which is much quicker than reading the text I've written

EDIT: And the ? in the O is not a pot it's a switch.
