Me and my best friend have a VERY high opportunity to be accept into the U15 ASSFA Football team.

The coach and trial group have been to our games and have given us many hints that they want us and have signed us up, if we are accepted, we will be doing tournaments in both Brisbane and Christchurch before this time next year.

The trials are coming up in April and currently I have no boots that are in good condition, so please Pit, recommend me boots that you've used before that are good for Football but also have sprigs and not blades (blades are ****.)

Cheers in advance.

we talking "soccer" boots?

I quite like Nike, and ive recently got a pair of the new Total 90s - they're kickass

Yeah "soccer" lol, and yeah, total 90s are good, I used em for a season and have them currently in shoe form, but what I really need is something durable and light.
#4
Adidas - all day every day, copa mundials if you can get them, you will not find a better boot!

Then again that's just an opinion make sure you try before you buy to make sure your foot is comfortable in them. I bought some Nike's off the internet once and they ripped my foot to pieces.

I got a similar offer a while back, I only turned it down because I had to travel 2 hours to a town to practice 3 days a week after school.
Buy a decent $100-$150 pair, it's up to you when it comes to shoes.

Yeah I usually pay about 100-200$

Last season I have Nike Tiempos and the season before that Total 90's. If i can't find a really good boot, I think i'll be going with Nike Mercurial Vapours but get some with sprigs and not blades.
#7
You must be pretty good and have a lot of experience to get into that team, and you're asking the pit to suggest you some boots?
#8
Well, there's a lot of good players on the internet, and some could lurk the Pit, I have a few boots in mind, but i'm just asking if any other players have boots they really enjoy and recommend.
#9
like a say, Nike are my personal favourite - ive used either Total 90s or Vapurs since...

These came out

apart from one season where they ripped halfway through and i got a pair of Predators, which were also good boots, but you said you dont want blades o_O

You had sprigged Vapours? The ONLY place i've ever seen them is online on Trademe 9similar to eBay) and I don't want 2nd hand boots, I really need to find sprigged ones lol.
#11
not sprigged - i dont really mind blades though, so y'know -_o

have a look around, i wouldnt reccomend buying boots over the internet

These are my current - a stopgap f you will

I used to have total 90s...I'm not sure what my current shoes are called lol, but they're also from Nike and pretty good. Since I'm a keeper I don't really pay much attention to what I wear, as long as they're comfortable. Over the years I've mainly used Nike though. I suggest you go to a store and get some advice there and try some on.

I was a predator man, myself, when i played regularly. I would recommend them, as well, but the whole blade thing....

...wrong football

And if you can find some, Mizuno makes some good stuff. They have some really light ones...I used their shoes when I ran track.
Nope, no sig here.
#17
Mizuno seems like a good choice as well - never used them, but a couple of the girls on the team do, dont seem to have any problems

ASICS gelled. They may be blades, but they grip like a bitch, and you can fly in them.

why do you hate blades so much? are you looking at metals or moulds. for moulds i wouldn't see why blades would be a problem (my vapours work fine) but metals i would go for a pair of total90's. not a big F50 fan.
#24
I use:

But I'm a goalkeeper (Who's obviously gonna need different ones to an outfield player)
#25
Vapours are really light, but the material is really thin so it hurts when you strike the ball. Get Tiempos. Real comfy and looks sweet too.
I has a sig.

Blades where I play are as good as sandshoes on a wet pitch, on your ass every time you strike the ball, I can normally cope but at times, they just don't do the trick for me.

Ronaldinho's Nike airs are really comfortable, I have them as shoes, so at the moment I might go for them or Vapours that are sprigged(found a pair Today)
