I'm very very very very slowly learning how to shred!

Here is my latest lick I've been practicing, first played slow and then fast

Would like to hear some positive criticism please!

I can definitely tell I'm improving I'm still avoiding theory though

Watch in High quality please

It's quite good! As long as you're improving, there should be no need for comments. Right?

PS: Next time you post a vid, make sure your PICKING hand is on aswell. I couldn't see if this was economy picked or not

Okay One thing you might want to improve is switching from alternate to economy picking. Economy picking is mostly alternate picking, but as the word says, more economic = better for REAL fast shredding.

Enter discussion about economy picking or alternating, where people will say alternating is for the real men, and economy is only for sloppy Malsmteen stuff.

And to the TS, not bad! Keep at it, but I trust that you know you'll have to.

Nice! Only two things:
1: Use the PGM for Paul Gilbert licks, just for teh fanboi lulz
2: The tone seemed a bit gain to me. But the technique was awesome.

Great job!
If only I was that good. ._.
will someone carry me across ten thousand miles under the silence

Imo alternate picking is far superior to economy, but that's just my opinion.

I shall continue to alternate pick
