mind would be either little foot's mother's death from "the land before time", or the entire freaking movie of "second hand lions"

the futurama episode with fry's brother is a close runner up.

My saddest moment in tv history is every year at the different awards, to see substandard shows being rewarded just because they're popular.

the last episode of that 70's show, or when J.D. had to take dr cox's place as dr cox on scrubs recently (if u watch the show youd know), that whole talk between him and kelso killed me
I pressed her thigh and death smiled

That scene always just kills me right when he says, "I wonder if it remembers me." I just love the way they all put their hands on his shoulders and he gets all choked up. Pretty strong moment. Must also be the combination of Sigur Ros playing during the scene.

Agreed. Awesome movie.

I second the Futurama with Fry's brother, also the one where he tries to clone his dog made me sad .

I remember crying when I watched Bambi, and the ending to "The Snowman".

EDIT: I'm gonna say it was pretty sad when Boromir died in The Fellowship of The Ring.

EDIT AGAIN: How could I have forgotten! The saddest tv moment of my childhood: The Death Of Optimus Prime...

I saw that clip a long time ago. I can't forget it.

Mentioning House reminded me of some Scrubs moments

-when Ben died.
-When Dr. Cox lost three patients and had a break down.

Marley and Me was sad, but what tops it for me was when Tom Hanks loses Wilson in Cast Away.

You beat me to it. I was going to say the Scrubs one, when Dr. Cox accidentally causes 3 deaths and spirals into a deep depression
