I,ve exhausted all internet resources in my search for this guitars idenity. Please help me.

I bought this guitar from a local Antique mall for $25. The only markings on the guitar are on the back/top of the headstock and a number inside the guitar.

The headstock has a sticker that reads "FG 11 Steel Reinforced Neck".
The number inside is "9802".

Specs and stuff:
36"
19 total frets
Trapeze Tailpiece
Notched saddle for strings.

Your pictures aren't showing up. You need to upload them to a picture hosting site first, like photobucket, then include the link with [IMG} as you've done

Are there any Yamahas with the trapeze tailpiece?

I've found serveral guitars with the same tailpiece, bridge, and saddle as my Mystery Guitar.

Kay, Harmoney, Silvertone, Truetone, Framus, and serveral Sears cheapos.

Cheapo or not, I'm impressed with the way it sounds. I've been learning how to play the guitar with a First Act. The Mystery Guitar is a major improvement.

Could this be a Stagg?

Could you make the pictures bigger so I don't have to find a magnifying glass please?

Just from the specs you gave, the FG is a good indicator that it might be a Yamaha

Well....I don't know what to tell you dude. I'm not an expert on classicals, but that seems like one of the guitars you would get off of ebay for $20. But hey, if you like it, that's all that matters, y'know?

I know it's not a "new cheapy". I can't match it anywhere. I have a friend that has one of the new $20 ebay guitars. It's pretty much junk. This one isn't like that. It's built alot better. It has a missing sticker on the back of the neck. It still has the sticky stuff on it. I'm sure it was the model number or name.
