When I use my Squier through my Vypyr I get really loud annoying noises. It was fine using the low gain factory preset then I turned it to the Dzl and it made the noise. It is kind of like when your drop a microphone and you hear the loud screech.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Peavey Vypyr 30

Do you mean feedback? A noise supressor(sp?) could fix this....

Yup, sounds like feedback to me. Go Hendrix/Jeff Beck/Townshend on it, use the feedback in your music.
