Hey everyone, I have a 2004 4003 Ric that produces a noisy hum. It is not a ground issue, it is a shielding issue. I have procured the copper tape for the back of the pickguard, shielded wiring, and the conductive paint for the cavities. As I am new to this process, I am wondering if anyone knows a link or has experience with some good concise instructions, tips, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

There are plenty of tutorials on google.

When you're done, it should look like this:

With the foil or mag tape protuding onto the body. Also cover the backside of the pickguard, so a box is made with the electronics inside. And don't forget to ground it.

EDIT: And you cna put all your gear and stuff in your sig by going into the Control Panel- much easier to do it once than copy and paste it into every post, eh?

For the shielding, if you can get it, use snail repelling copper tape. You can find it in the gardening section of your hardware store. Jaco de Luca suggested it once in the forum and I used it to shield my Accu Bass. Its cheaper than shielding tape and works very, very well.
