I've been pondering on a few guitars lately.
Dean ML
Ibanez RG

Ive been looking at alot of super strats, But i have no clue about FR's, locking nuts, Single coils ect.
I see lots of people have these types of guitars so im wondering what i should get

My budget is about $250-300 Im going used, of course

Epiphone G-400 Goth
76 Mann Les Paul Custom
Fender f-230 Accoustic
Randall RG-180 DX
Line6 Spider III HD75 Head - Behringer 412
Saving for a Marshall JCM 800.

This is the only RG I could find on MF for your price range. I would recommend you save up some more cash since it looks like you already have some decent axes already. 250-300 isnt gonna be much of an upgrade if at all.

save up that money and buy a decent amp...how can you think about guitars when you have 3-4 of them but only crappy amps:S?

You could do this as well

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-RG321-Electric-Guitar?sku=512492

It'd be just over 300 with S/H, but worth it, although I think the pickups on the one that Lethal listed might be better.

You should save up another 200 bucks and get this, IMO

Oh man I forgot about the RG321 nice call.

I agree you should go up to about the $400 mark but thats just my opinion. Check out that soloist in person though for that low of a price im pretty sure there is something wrong that they arent telling you about.

I'm not trying to insult you, but have you played the Spider HD75 Head? It's not a bad amp at all.
Ibanez RG350DX will give you a great guitar. I'm not sure how easily you'll be able to find it at that price, though.

Well the amps i use have all i really need on them, Im not into the tube sound, I like the gross sounding digital tone. and as far as owning 4 guitars goes, I just love playing different guitars and i just cant give up any of my old ones. Its like adding to a family, I play in alot of different tunings too, So all my guitars are tuned differently, My lespaul is in standard, SG is in half a step down and the accoustic is in c sharp, the jackson is in down a full step. Ive always wanted to get a guitar with a FR or similar, Actualy, thats how i got my rhoads, I was going to get this dinky with FR, seymores and an ebony fingerboard for $399 but then i saw the rhoads for $199 so i got that instead and some new monster cables.

Heh...its kinda funny that you think you're gonna get a soloist for that much money

Spring for the Ibanez RG5EX1, only bad thing is that the bridge is an Edge III. Duno what has an FR in that price range.
Fender 72 Tele Thinline (my baby)
Gibson SG Special Faded

Like i said, I usualy buy used guitars I dont mind the paint or wood being chipped dented ect., The soloist i saw on craigslist for $280 Has quite a few dents in it, needs a new locking nut and a setup. It was pretty old from the 80's it has dot inlays.
