It's actually pretty nice.

I wonder why he is getting rid of it...?

I'd want that too, but I have other GAS items I could buy with $3500

This. I'm sorry, as pretty as that guitar is, I'd spend it on something much better then that.

Hahaha as soon as I saw you responded to this thread, I said - "Necrosis will love it, I know he will."

Do not ask why I thought that, but I suppose it kind of makes sense.

I don't think I'd sell it.

Too much sentimental value. If my dad gave me something like that, it would never leave my possession unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. He probably has a good reason though.

I had the chance to play one once...about 50's or early 60's I think. It was amazing. It sold quickly.

3500 is too ****in much.

Sorry but that kind of cash is worth custom only. Never been a Gibson fan anyway. Necks like baseball bats. I'd take my Jackson over it.

I'd normally be there like Fred Astaire for an ES, but that is gross looking, and just as expensive

$3500 seems like a good price for a nearly mint '68.
Looks fantastic. Cutaway is a bit sharp for a semi-hollow, and I'd probably but a Bigsby and gold hardware on it. But man, that is great looking.
