Hi. I'm going to attempt to build my first guitar pedal. I founf a shematic for a muffmaster located here http://www.muzique.com/schem/muff3.gif . I'm going to order the parts from pedal parts plus. the only thing I can't find is the 330k resistor for r2. Can I use another value link 390k instead? also, if you look at the schematic the value for r4 is not listed it just says 1000 dose the mean 1000k/1M? One last thing, the site that I'm ordering from only sells metal film resistors. will these work ok?
Thanks.

Metal film is fine...metal film sometimes helps bring down noise.

That emitter resistor is 1K or 1000ohms, same thing.

Why not put resistors in series or parallel to get 330k?
