I play acoustic songs especially in alternate tunings, my personal favorite so far being DADADD. I like the open chord sounds and it helps having that little "bass" support. I currently have a spider II or III, 30 watt and I hate it...I just bought a Dean East Andes Exotica and really want a good amp to play my acoustic with...any recommendations? I am going to sell my spider for cheap...I hope I can get 50 bucks for it to put towards a new amp...

Also, and pedals you'll recommend? the only pedal I own is an rc2 loop station by boss...very fun but otherwise pretty useless when your amp blows squirrel balls...

I think you'll find that the majority of acoustic players will recommend against effects pedals. Personally, I never use any effects, aside from the (very) occasional, bit of tasteful overdrive.

I will, however, suggest that you look into Fishman amps. They make some really great stuff.
