this song that my friend showed me is so sick. I just wanted to know how the intro riff is created caus i want to get basis on how the riff was made so i can make riffs similar.

That's...a generic metal riff. What exactly do you want to know about it?
Someones knowledge of guitar companies spelling determines what amps you can own. Really smart people can own things like Framus because they sound like they might be spelled with a "y" but they aren't.

There is no "how to" manual. Just study the riff and practice writing others like it.

I would imagine how I wanted it to sound and then play it.
Stop looking for a shortcut. Like any other musical skill, composing takes practice. Start practicing.

I think he is looking for a scale....just work on your pedal riffs (think the "spider" riff from master of puppets) then pretty much just use the minor scale in w/e key you will be in. Most likely w/e the note is of your lowest string.

A pedal riff is a riff where one note is repeating very often, usually between everyother note, like a riff where everyother note is the open low E, that would be a pedal tone riff, also that idea is usefull in shred-style solos.
