Can you use invader pickups to play punk? someone told me that its not for punk and that its for high gain metal and that no1 plays high gain punk. I know Tom delonge used these in his strat and he play punk. so what do you think?

The invaders are great pickups, especially for the money. But yeah you can play Punk on them, why the hell would'nt you be able to be? whoever told you they're for metal only really has no idea.

i don't see why you couldn't play punk with them, but they might not be the best tool for the job.
