Ultimate-Guitar community: It's time for you to vote. I have a squire strat, and whatever you guys vote on I will do to it. It's totally up to you. Right now it's black with white pickgaurd, unmodded. I'll post pics when I'm done.

HSH with coil splitting, phase shifting, anything else that could add as many knobs or switches or buttons to this thing as possible.

killswitch, grafitti as paint, and a built in bong if you like that (otherwise, a flamethrower to light your audiences joints)

EDIT: some new pups would be a good idea. a bunch of LEDs in the body, with plexy on top would look bitchin' too

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I vote for cutting a new shape out of the body/horns, refinish in a cool color like sonic blue (mmmm I love me some old strat ) put a Invader in the bridge with HS-3's in the middle and neck, and call it a day. Unless you felt like a full scallop for the lolz.
#11
you need to put every cool thing you can do with wiring in it. including on board effects. and a ug logo

dont put a killswitch on it. put a mercury switch so that it'll kill the signal depending on how you tilt it. a google search for adrian legg might bring up his wiring techniques and how to put a mercury switch into a guitar.

Yeah, but what I would do is get rid of the squier logo on the headstock and put the UG one there instead. I think that'd be awesome.

Chainsaw the horns and drill lots of mouse holes. Strip the electrics and put in a single humbucker with just a vol pot. No pickguard.

have one volume and 3 tones each tone with a different capiciitor. and get a push pull knobs for coil tapping and parallel and series swithing
#29
Extend the bridge to the very bottom of the body, then add in as many humbuckers as you can (Probably four or five, maybe more), coil split them all, then add in so many different controls, kaos pads, and as much stuff as you can fit.

...

#30
drill holes in it and paint it yellow, it can be like a cheese guitar

EDIT: Baby Joel, you can't move the bridge, it will mess up intonation/ scale length
#31
Of course it will mess everything up, but it would look hilarious.
And I'm sure some adjustments could be done to fix the length and whatnot.
superman is killing himself tonight
#32
you could put it at the end of the body if you had some sort of TOM bridge or something at the right scale length
#35
This my interpretation, its called the fapocaster.

built in proximity wah and a s***load of effects.
scalloped frets
UG logo
scribble famous usernames on it i.e. Kensai etc.
#37
hollow neck. i'm sure it's possible.... probably would need some steel reinforcement or some carbon composite material like kevlar but it'd definitely be interesting although i have no idea how it'd be adjustable. i think there was an ovation years ago that had an aluminum neck or fretboard.
#39
Steve Vai type handle, pretty cool.

i actually have a bunch of those sitting around but i never thought about using them in a guitar
might be quite unpredictable to use though (fun)
