im looking at getting a new set of pedals, how's this:

> Ibanez WD7 Weeping Demon

> Boss DD-20 Giga Delay

> Digitech Whammy WH-notfussyaboutnumber (is there much difference?)

> Boss DS-1 (probably not, need recommendation here if I should get something different - would like similar price range)

> Ibanez Tubescreamer of some sort (is there a particular model I should get?)

> Ernie Ball VP (I need a little more info in these)

Is there anything else I should get?

Amended list:

>Boss V-Wah
>BOSS DD-20
>Digitech Whammy (no it doesn't really matter all that much)
>Ibanez TS9
>Ernie Ball VP (what's to tell? It's a great quality volume pedal. Runs best in the loop for swells)

This is all superfluous without a good amp.

is there something else?
im not too fussed with the reliability of the bugera. i can get the 333-212 for 999 aussie and the cleans on it were reasonable so im not complaining. will the tubescreamer be able to give me srv/later john mayer?

try and upgrade that into the 333xl it is the copy of the Peavey JSX, Satriani's sig amp...........
put the Tubescreamer on the clean chanel of the amp and then you can get the SVR and Mayer tones.....

If you have passive pickups or are using the pedal in an FX loop you want the 250k one. If you're using it for active pickups in front of the amp, get the 25k one.

I've played both the V-Wah and the Weeping demon, and I can say that as a gigging musician who needs versatility that the V-Wah kills the Demon. Hell, even the modelled version of the demon (which is actually of a morley voicing) is better.
