Name a few of your favorites.

I'm talking about those moments when you are listening to a song and when you hear it you just want to jump, mosh, and go crazy...

My personal favorite is

To The Threshold - Hatebreed.

your turn, list all that come to mind.

The riffing after the intro in Epoch of the Gods-Psycroptic is the definition of non-gay groove metal.

The breakdown in Phantom Limb (the title track)- Pig Destroyer is pretty killer too.

That reminds me

Make them Suffer - Cannibal Corpse (right after the bridge in the intro... My friends and I always rock out to that ****.)

On topic, I would say The Disintegrators.

Disfigured by Cannibal Corpse has always had a really great groove to it, in my mind.

For CC, I'm going to have to say "Unleashing the Bloodthirsty" has a cool as fvck groove (diminished arps ftw!). The Dr.Zilog nes version is actually pretty cool too, that songis badass enough to be a laid-back lounge tune if it wanted too.

"Disposal of the Baggy" by Cannibus Corpse is pretty sweet too. Hell, they're a joke band, and that song is awesome even by the standard of the very band they're parodying

Not exactly metal, but I find very, very, very few songs that make me want to "jump, mosh, and go crazy" to.

"Blue Line Cretin"- The Red Chord

That song has the energy set on 150%, and it just gets higher as the song progresses.

As for a few "more metal forum" selections:

"Mirror, Mirror"- Blind Guardian

Id have to go with Revolution Is My Name - Pantera
The riff right after the chorus.

and Wake Up Dead - Megadeth
The outro riff. Just awesome.

I haven't listened to "Clients" in ages, I should give it a spin tonight.

Eh, for myself, I don't know. I'll just give the half-assed answers of "Sentenced Morning" by Krisiun and "Scream" by Dio.

I love Clients. Such a fantastic, driving album.

On topic, Furnace Funeral just makes you wanna get jiggy. (Hell yeah I'm whipping out the '90's terminolololology.)

As for CC, definitely the chorus of Make Them Suffer.

heal me,

chorus of 'back to reality' by pod people
intro to 'only for the weak' by in flames

more melodic, but you can't deny they are groovy

also virulent mass necropsy by haemorrhage, in the...groovy bit. i guess it's a bridge or something.

In 'Clenching the Fists of Dissent' by Machine Head, in the intro where the first proper distorted riff comes in and the whole band play it, that part makes me want to headbang like crazy. Also, Drag the Waters by Pantera has a pretty fucking crushing groove built out of 1 1/2 notes.

Bloodbath - The Ascension
The inevitable monster headbang that comes with when this song kicks in is dangerous. I've often knocked all the stuff around my sink over during it.
