Something like Fade TO Black by Metallica or Gary Moore's Still Got Th Blues ya know, something not too hard. Prefebly I should be able to get in on Guitar Pro 5.

With Standard Tunning.

Thank you.

Yeah, Slash tuned to a half step down for everything in the guns n roses days, I'm not sure if he still does, but old habbits die hard so I would guess so.

Seeing as you already mentioned Gary Moore, try Parisienne Walkways.

You can still play the solo to November Rain in standard, just transpose it to standard in Guitar Pro.

I find the Stairway To Heaven solo calming, and a lot of the solos from Red Hot Chili Peppers 'Stadium Arcadium'. Actually, speaking of RHCP, songs like 'Scar Tissue' and 'Californication' have nice solos too.

how about the first solo to One... ? that came to mind (though I have no idea if you'd find it calming)

I also find the knockin on heaven's door solo by GnR calming (the first solo) and that's all I can think of right now.

EDIT: Beatles- while my guitar gently weeps (yes, some people listen to classics XD )
